Real life vs Societal expectations
This really hits home
Seriously though I wake up in the morning and go to bed at night feeling insecure about my breasts because they look like the ones on the left and not the right and I’ve just felt so uneasy about that for a while but this picture has given me a completely different mindset. Both are completely fine, It’s not my fault, it’s not our fault that we may not meet societal expectations. Our bodies are our bodies and we should love and embrace them no matter what.
I love this. Coming from a small chested person, I’ve been taught that because I don’t have bigger breasts I can’t pull of clothing, especially swimsuits as well as a fuller chested woman can. I have been made fun of endlessly, especially when I want to enjoy the summer in a bathing suit. I’ve heard everything from my chest looks like a teenage boy’s, my boobs are like mosquito bites, and that I’m “flat as a board.” Can’t all breasts be beautiful?

I derive inspiration from life, and I don’t mean that in an avant-garde romantic way at all. I mean that I play witness to many different forms of art and expression that I feel compelled to pay tribute to these varying beauties by creating portraits that communicate identity, love, loss, and life. I tend to rely a lot on music, dance, and poetry
